Shakra Sessions (shakrasessions.com and our iOS and Android apps) is operated by Technection, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“Shakra Sessions”, “we”). By using it you agree to these terms.

What we do

We help people find and book sound baths and similar sessions hosted by independent studios and practitioners (“studios”). Each session is run by the studio, not by us. The studio is responsible for the session, its venue, its safety and its description.

Buying tickets

When you book, you buy a ticket from the studio; we process the payment on the studio's behalf through Stripe. All sales are final and tickets are non-refundable. A studio may choose to refund you, as described in our Refund policy. Prices are in US dollars and include any add-ons shown at checkout.

Sound and breathwork sessions can be intense. If you are pregnant, have epilepsy, a heart condition, a hearing condition or any other health concern, check with a medical professional before attending. You attend at your own risk.

Your account

Keep your login details private. Bookings made with your email address appear in your account. You can rename a ticket for a friend until it's checked in.

For studios

Studios must give accurate session details, hold any licenses and insurance their sessions need, and honour the tickets they sell. Payouts are made through Stripe Connect and are subject to Stripe's terms. Shakra Sessions keeps a 8% booking fee on each paid ticket. Refunds a studio issues come from the studio's Stripe balance and the booking fee isn't returned. Each card dispute on a studio's sale carries a $20 dispute fee charged to the studio, and the disputed amount is held until the dispute is resolved.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no fraudulent bookings, scraping, interfering with the site, or posting content you don't have rights to. We may remove listings or accounts that break these terms.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Shakra Sessions isn't liable for the sessions studios run or for indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees we received for the booking involved.
